Lex and her gang skipped through Los Angeles earlier this year and headed down to Santa Monica on September 13th, 2011 to visit the folks at KCRW. It was Lex’s 2nd visit to the studios of “Morning Becomes Eclectic” with host Jason Bentley and producer Ariana Morgenstern. It was a captivating morning with Lex and her band which included compatriot singer/songwriter Gavin Castleton on keys, background vocals, and assorted instruments. The foursome performed songs from both of Lex’s albums, Orange Days on Lemon Street and the newly released Were My Sweetheart To Go…, and ended the set with a duet featuring Lex and Gavin singing one of Gavin’s songs, “Coffeelocks”.
